Crank Cheat Mahjong is a four-player riichi mahjong game for Playdate.

Play an East-only or Hanchan match against three AI opponents. But the tiles aren’t the only thing under your control.

Turn the crank counterclockwise by 45° to rewind the current hand one action at a time. Turn it clockwise by 90° to pause the match and take control of the next player. Press A or B when you’re ready to resume.

Undo a bad discard. Take over an opponent’s hand and change their move. Play fair—or rewrite the match in your favor.

Controls

• D-pad Left / Right: Select a tile or action
• D-pad Up / Down: Scroll
• A Button: Confirm or resume after switching players
• B Button: Pass, go back, or resume after switching players
• Crank Counterclockwise 45°: Rewind one action in the current hand
• Crank Clockwise 90°: Switch to the next player
• Menu Button: View scores and dora indicators

The match pauses while you switch players and resumes only after you press A or B. The resume button press will not confirm an action or pass.

You can only rewind within the current hand. Whether you interfere—or play completely fair—is up to you.
